Cornell-Liberia Project records, 1960-1969.

Staff records include correspondence with staff members, from applications to post-employment recommendations and Christmas cards, as well as correspondence with unsuccessful applicants. Reports include Dalton and Dalton's preliminary survey of the University of Liberia's facilities and needs, and the series of semi-annual project progress reports. Financial records include a ledger and computer printouts of all payment accounts, payrolls, vouchers, bills, and audits. Also included is a tape recording (April 3, 1964) of Dr. Rochefort L. Weeks, President of the University of Liberia, discussing the University's history, current status, and future plans. Also a plaque presented to Cornell by the University of Liberia.

The Cornell-Liberia Project was a joint effort of Cornell University and the U. S. Agency for International Development. Cornell provided a team of experts on university organization and services.
